Inspired by Joseph Pilates

Joseph Pilates developed a method founded on concentration, control, precision, breathing and the integration of mind and body. These principles continue to inspire my teaching and shape the way I approach movement today. I believe Pilates is about more than exercise. It is about developing body awareness, improving movement quality and building strength, control and confidence.

Change happens through movement, and heals."

My Journey with Pilates

My journey in the fitness industry began in 2000. I qualified as a Pilates teacher with Michael King in 2004 and studied yoga at The Life Centre in London in 2005.

My career has taken me across different countries, including running a Pilates studio in Toronto and introducing Pilates teaching in Nepal in 2013.

Over the years, I have continued to develop my knowledge and teaching across Pilates Matwork and the full range of studio apparatus, alongside further training in Clinical Reformer Pilates and Advanced Matwork.

My Approach

I combine respect for the traditional method with a contemporary understanding of movement and physical function. I believe in establishing sound foundations, working progressively and adapting exercises to the individual. Through my interest in clinical Pilates and collaborative work with physiotherapists, I aim to make movement purposeful, considered and appropriate to each person's needs and goals.
